Vimy Ridge Vigil

Cadets from Royal Canadian Army stands in front of the National War Memorial during the Vimy Ridge Vigil as the sun sets. The Battle of Vimy Ridge took place 95 years ago on Easter Monday, April 9, 1917 during the first World War. More than 10,000 Canadian soldiers lost their lives in the battle.
